ATTENTION
Here's where we meet, to talk, eat and network!!

Where is this place
you find yourself asking?

Well, we meet at Willie Bird's Restaurant at 1150 South Santa Rosa Ave. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am until 8:30 am.

Parking is easy as there are parking spaces on both sides and the back of the restaurant.

We will have access to a closed meeting room, where we will actually be able to hear each other talk.

JOHN LEWIS FETED AS NEW FEATURED MEMBER OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

John was born and raised in Ohio. His Grandpa Lewis was a coal miner and one of life’s true characters. His Grandpa Eaton was a gardener and loved to build bird houses.

John sells insurance...and he sings and plays the guitar. Doing all three quite well, in fact.

To find out what else John does (we don't know if he dances), head on over to the Featured Member area of our website and check out our latest featured member.

ALL THE NEWS...HEY, CAN WE PRINT THAT?

James Blair of Dreamspace Design is developing a small showroom in Sebastopol. He'll be displaying two line of cabinets, counters, tile work and plumbing fixtures. His showroom will be by appointment only. He's also trying to install a new alternator on his boat and wants to know which is the hot lead. Diffused any bombs lately, James?

Gabe Dunton says the home insurance industry-wide, is going to be underwritten more strictly. He suggests that you talk thoroughly about your insurance with your agent before purchasing a policy.

Hunter Finch lsays Carly Simon is doing a new video based on her old hit song, "You're So Vain", whch is going to answer the question, "who is 'you're.'" Ideas are being sought and a prize will be awarded.

Melinda Hughes-Berland
recently attended the PPC convention, which included a print competition and seminars, such as "How to use Facebook", and "The Art of Photography." In the print competition, Melinda was awarded one National Merit and three California merits for her submitted images.

Peter Karp's businesses (he has two) resently built a new website for Avant Garde Wellness and launched a new water hydration product for improved health. He also celebrated his father's 85th birthday in Florida with 24 family members from across the country.

John Kold
recently visited MacWorld in San Francisco and he says that it's obvious that support for the Macintosh computer platform is growing fast. He reports that Microsoft is coming out with a version of "Office 2011" with Outlook for the Mac. Now, that's really scary.....Outlook for the Macintosh!?!?

Pat Mitchell
will be a teacher's assistant for David Quigley's school, The Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis in Santa Rosa as a part of her continuing education and advanced certification. She's looking forward to to this exciting opportunity to train others in this important work.

James Randolph
has been named assistant general manager at Lou Saare Body Shop, forcing his father to look at early retirement (way to go, Jim [the elder, not to be confused with the younger]). He also states that Fast Aid and Safety is now being co-managed by Christie Cooley. Look for James at Willow Springs Raceway this weekend....racing his motorcycle.

Newest SRBC member, David Wasley is taking on two new hospitals' insurance plans (West and South counties). He also says he had a great date last night with a cute woman named Johanna. He's also concerned about the competing affections of Judith and Chantal. Dave certainly has a rocky road ahead of him in his love life. We wish him luck!!!

Want to Be a Featured Member of the SRBC?

Now's the time to think about becoming a featured member of the SRBC. How do you do that? Easy! Take a look at the Featured Members page, then write something about yourself. Have someone take a picture of you. Then, submit what you've got to the Club secretary. She'll make sure the webmaster puts it up on the web site. Don't worry about length, or writing style as we can edit for you, if necessary. We'll also create a link to your business or service website...free advertising for you.

It's just that simple!

We're Still Looking for Some New Members

To borrow a phrase, we're looking for a few good men and women of the same ilk to join us for breakfast on Tuesday mornings. The purpose is to network, share views and enjoy the meeting of new people from all business persuasions.

To entice you into joining us, we've come up with some nifty benefits. We intend to provide a Preferred Services Provider Directory, increased web exposure of your business or profession through our web site and member directory, an informative newsletter, featured member of the month and of course, the opportunity for social networking. Pretty good deal, eh?

So, now's the time to "volunteer"....and begin your membership in the Santa Rosa Breakfast Club!

It's inexpensive...only $120.00 a year, or two payments of $60 each, bi-annually, plus the $20.00 initiation fee (we do understand that times are tough). The benefits have been mentioned before, but you'll have to join to make full use of them.

We'll look forward to seeing you on Tuesday morning at 7:30am, at Willie Bird's on Santa Rosa Ave.

Cheers!
