ATTENTION
Here's where we meet, to talk, eat and network!!

Where is this place
you find yourself asking?

Well, we meet at Willie Bird's Restaurant at 1150 South Santa Rosa Ave. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am until 8:30 am.

Parking is easy as there are parking spaces on both sides and the back of the restaurant.

We will have access to a closed meeting room, where we will actually be able to hear each other talk.

Our Website Host

We're Still Looking for Some New Members
To borrow a phrase, we're looking for a few good men and women of the same ilk to join us for breakfast on Tuesday mornings. The purpose is to network, share views and enjoy the meeting of new people from all business persuasions.

To entice you into joining us, we've come up with some nifty benefits. We intend to provide a Preferred Services Provider Directory, increased web exposure of your business or profession through our web site and member directory, an informative newsletter, featured member of the month and of course, the opportunity for social networking. Pretty good deal, eh?

It's inexpensive...only $120.00 a year, or two payments of $60 each, bi-annually, plus the $20.00 initiation fee (we do understand that times are tough). The benefits have been mentioned before, but you'll have to join to make full use of them.

We'll look forward to seeing you on Tuesday morning at 7:30am, at Willie Bird's on Santa Rosa Ave.

Cheers!

Breakfast Club

An Ode to Early Morning Risers
Come gather round people where ever you roam
And admit that our Breakfast Club continues to grow
And accept it that soon we’ll be full to the bone
Our group is wonderfully raging
SR Breakfast Club times are a changing

- by Bob Dylan (slightly revised by yours truly)

I can’t think of a verse to one of my favorite songs that sums up what we are experiencing at our beloved Breakfast Club! Our cast of regular members continue to “pump up the volume” at a previously unforeseen level and each week some of the most interesting visitors stop by for a look-see.

Let’s look at yesterday for instance…our own Kelly Swanson and Dr. Larry Gilbert (aka “anyone who can fog a mirror”) had birthday’s! As you might imagine that kind of set the tone for the morning with some outstanding chatter. All members performed at a high level with their infomercials and the highlight (for me) had to be from two time visitor Jason…who shared with us some of the intricacies of his job as a PI. Not to be out done…our own Kirby Wilkerson provided a compelling talk about his life and how he started out as a teacher (at SRJC) and followed that up by purchasing a condemned home to remodel. Well that remodel led to another and another and his latest effort was the design and construction of a veterinary hospital in Bodega Bay (you can see it on his website. That’s impressive Kirby!

February promises to be a hoot with our regular cast of characters and a full schedule of “guest speakers”.

So if you’re a business owner or in business and feel like spending an hour with 20 or so SRBC characters (any Tuesday morning at 7:30)…come on down to Willie Birds Restaurant and have some breakfast, talk some shop and we promise to entertain you.

Have a productive February……..

Featured Member of the Month
Our next Featured Member will be either Sam Burrage, Tiffanie Kowalski or Kirby Wilkerson. Now, they've all been approached and all acquiesced, but as of this writing have not been forthcoming with their information and photos. So, the Editor will take it upon himself to compose the Featured Member page for the previously mentioned members. He has no pictures or biographical information, but that won't deter him. So, next month, look for the "highly enhanced" Featured Member page. Who do you think will be up first?

Only the Editor knows....and well, maybe the Shadow.....
