ATTENTION
Here's where we meet, to talk, eat and network!!

Where is this place
you find yourself asking?

Well, we meet at Willie Bird's Restaurant at 1150 South Santa Rosa Ave. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am until 8:30 am.

Parking is easy as there are parking spaces on both sides and the back of the restaurant.

We will have access to a closed meeting room, where we will actually be able to hear each other talk.

THE MONTHLY MISSIVE FOR INFORMATION STARVED SRBC MEMBERS

Peter Karp is our latest Featured Member of the Month. Like a few other refugees from New York, Peter found his way to Sonoma County and has two businesses going for him. Let's here it for over-achievers...but, seriously folks...check out Peter's Club webpage here and find out what brought him from New York to Sonoma County.

More recent news about Peter is that he's now an ambassador for the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce.

Gabe Dunton has been found lurking on Facebook...where he's been signing up new friends. So, what is it Gabe, you don't like your SRBC friends, you have to have new ones, as well?

Hunter Finch is busy pitching prospective clients in the wilds of Marin County. Unfortunately the Society for the Protection of Endangered Advertisers has put up a wanted poster with his likeness. We're not saying it is Hunter...but when the numbers on the front of the poster match his car license....well, what can we say...

Melinda Hughes-Berland
was last seen with a single dangling earring. We're wondering why there isn't a matching piece for the other ear? Maybe there's a reward for the twin.

John Kold
missed last Tuesday's meeting. Rumor has it that he was working on a Windows 7 server and an unexplicable ray of light shot from the machine and made him disappear. Days later, an associate found an email from him asking that individual to download the attachment associated with the email. The associate did so, and out popped Mr. Kold, suffering from a virus. Moral: Don't download attachments as you might get a virus or worse.

Pat Mitchell
is still looking for an appropriate design for her business card to represent her hypno-therapy business. How about one of those old black and white spirally thingies? We all know what those mean.

James Randolph
says he and his fiancee, Christie have set a date? Date for what, James? Are we all invited? He also wants to know if the newsletter can come out sooner. Of course, it can. All you have to do is ask the Club Secretary if she will write copy for it on a weekly basis, along with the weekly reminder blurb.

Are your really going to ask her to do all that, James?

Christie Cooley
is helping out with the management of Fast Aid & Safety, now that James is associated with the management of the Lou Saare Body Shop.

She says that the process service business is booming, too.

On a personal note, Christie says James really likes it when she "makes" his cereal in the mornings. We wonder what that means...can Christie really cook?

David Wasley is starting a campaign to introduce himself and explain what he does to as many people as possible in Santa Rosa. He also says that his Jazz group is just about ready to start playing gigs. Got any parties you want live music at?

Janet Codding
is pleased to announce that the company she reps, NuSkin Enterprises, has just completed its 32nd month in a row of record sales. NuSkin did 1.33 Billion wholesale dollars in 2009 and paid out over 560 Million dollars in commissions. Their stock on the New York Stock Exchange went up 142% in 2009. Thanks for the stock tip, Janet.

Ed Berland
of Berland Design Group is in the developmental stages of a new website for a local landscaping and maintenance company. He wonders if working on the site will give him a green thumb?

Note from the President:

It's always good to acknowledge folks that step up in our society, for whatever reason. It's my pleasure to bestow upon our current Club Secretary a virtual bouquet of Roses for cranking out the weekly missive that all of you receive each week. So, thank you Christie Cooley...and keep 'em coming. Your term isn't over til June 30th.

We Need the April Featured Member for the SRBC? You Should Volunteer.

Now's the time to think about becoming a featured member of the SRBC. How do you do that? Easy! Take a look at the Featured Members page, then write something about yourself. Have someone take a picture of you. Then, submit what you've got to the Club secretary. She'll make sure the webmaster puts it up on the web site. Don't worry about length, or writing style as we can edit for you, if necessary. We'll also create a link to your business or service website...free advertising for you.

It's just that simple!

We're Still Looking for Some New Members

To borrow a phrase, we're looking for a few good men and women of the same ilk to join us for breakfast on Tuesday mornings. The purpose is to network, share views and enjoy the meeting of new people from all business persuasions.

To entice you into joining us, we've come up with some nifty benefits. We intend to provide a Preferred Services Provider Directory, increased web exposure of your business or profession through our web site and member directory, an informative newsletter, featured member of the month and of course, the opportunity for social networking. Pretty good deal, eh?

So, now's the time to "volunteer"....and begin your membership in the Santa Rosa Breakfast Club!

It's inexpensive...only $120.00 a year, or two payments of $60 each, bi-annually, plus the $20.00 initiation fee (we do understand that times are tough). The benefits have been mentioned before, but you'll have to join to make full use of them.

We'll look forward to seeing you on Tuesday morning at 7:30am, at Willie Bird's on Santa Rosa Ave.

Cheers!
