ATTENTION
Here's where we meet, to talk, eat and network!!

Where is this place
you find yourself asking?

Well, we meet at Willie Bird's Restaurant at 1150 South Santa Rosa Ave. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am until 8:30 am.

Parking is easy as there are parking spaces on both sides and the back of the restaurant.

We will have access to a closed meeting room, where we will actually be able to hear each other talk.

EXTRA: HOLIDAY SOCIAL FOR CLUB MEMBERS AND GUESTS

The SRBC is pleased to announce that on December 18th, from 6pm to 10pm, we will be having our Holiday Social. This is an opportunity for Club members and their guests to get to know one another in a non-networking/business environment. There will be hors d'oeuvres, wine, soft drinks and lots of good conversation.

You'll be receiving an invitation via email shortly, with the address and an opportunity to RSVP. This social is open to all Club members in good standing and their guests.

We'll look forward to seeing all of you there.

ALL THE NEWS...ALMOST FIT TO PRINT...

Time for yet another edition of the ever scintillating SRBC News, your local tattletale, printing almost everything thrown at it. We begin with member submissions, some of which are suspect, of dubious veracity and may just be downright bald-faced self-promotion. But, then who are we to judge....

Christie Cooley is considering filing as an LLC. Won't she need a very tall filing cabinet for that? She also states that her new contractor is working out well. Does she spy on that individual in the gym, hmmm?!?! She also says she needs insurance and liability protection. (That's a hint to you insurance agents in the Club...get on the ball!). And, lastly we should feel sorry for poor Christie, as she is heading to Hawaii in January, for a vacation. What, you don't like being around us every week?

James Randolph's Fast Aid and Safety is having a sale on large four shelf first aid cabinets. He's also racing KTM motorcycles in 2010. Aren't you glad he's got a line on bandages?

Deepinder Sekon says Tiger was cheating on his wife. OK...was your wife playing some kind of game with Tiger? Oh, you meant his wife...well, how did you find out and don't you have better things to do than watch TMZ?

John A. Lewis
recommends that you get your teeth cleaned, your eyes checked and schedule an annual checkup. Do you think he gets kickbacks from his doctor for saying that? He also says to ask your insurance carrier about H1N1 benefits and annual physical benefits.

Debbie Wallace
recently became involved with the Women's Global Leadership Initiative, offering leadership development to women via workshops and mentorship programs. If we had more women leaders, we'd have less wars. How about Debbie for President? She also remarks that we need more contributions to the web site, and more marketing, as well. Your editor agrees, less work for him and more for the rest of you.

Melinda Hughes-Berland recently won the Best Print Award in her division at the Professional Photographers of the Redwood Empire's November meeting, during a major print competition. So, was that for her printing expertise or her photography? Somebody ask her, please!!!

Ed Berland is working on a web site for the Tapanti Hotel in Costa Rica, which will feature an online calendar and reservation system, along with the usual web stuff like pictures and logos, etc. Too bad he's not getting paid for it. His brother-in-law owns the hotel and Melinda said to be nice to him, rather than billing him thousands of dollars. Well, I guess a free all-inclusive vacation to Central America wouldn't be out of the question, would it?

UPCOMING ELECTIONS

Did you know that semi-annual Club elections will be on us quicker than you think? We need new officers for the first half of 2010. How about becoming an officer and having direct say in how the SRBC operates? Your commitment will be for only 6 months, not long in the scheme of things. Think of what you can accomplish. You'll also have bragging rights and the ability to issue press releases extolling your rise in the pecking order.

So, show up....vote early and vote often!

Congratulations to Featured Member, Janet Codding

Finally, someone has acquiesced to becoming the new Member of the Month. It's only taken months of cajoling by the Club webmaster to finally cause our latest featured member to realize the benefits of being in the "spotlight". Advantages of featured membership: your own web page on the Club web site, featured in the Club newsletter, link backs to your own web site and the adulation of the other SRBC members.

So, without further ado, here's Janet Codding, Featured Member of the Month. Janet's a direct marketing professional representing NuSkin nutritional and skin care products. She also has had a career in Escrow services and raised multiple families. Quite an accomplishment.

You can read more about Janet at her featured member page, here.

If you're interested in the services that Janet provides, you can contact her at www.scanitjanet.com or email her at janet@scanitjanet.com. You can also call her at 707-843-7213 (home/office) or at 707-217-4158 (cell).

Want to Be a Featured Member of the SRBC?

Now's the time to think about becoming a featured member of the SRBC. How do you do that? Easy! Take a look at the Featured Members page, then write something about yourself. Have someone take a picture of you. Then, submit what you've got to the Club secretary. He'll make sure the webmaster puts it up on the web site. Don't worry about length, or writing style as we can edit for you, if necessary. We'll also create a link to your business or service website...free advertising for you.

It's just that simple!

We're Still Looking for Some New Members

To borrow a phrase, we're looking for a few good men and women of the same ilk to join us for breakfast on Tuesday mornings. The purpose is to network, share views and enjoy the meeting of new people from all business persuasions.

To entice you into joining us, we've come up with some nifty benefits. We intend to provide a Preferred Services Provider Directory, increased web exposure of your business or profession through our web site and member directory, an informative newsletter, featured member of the month and of course, the opportunity for social networking. Pretty good deal, eh?

So, now's the time to "volunteer"....and begin your membership in the Santa Rosa Breakfast Club!

It's inexpensive...only $120.00 a year, or two payments of $60 each, bi-annually, plus the $20.00 initiation fee (we do understand that times are tough). The benefits have been mentioned before, but you'll have to join to make full use of them.

We'll look forward to seeing you on Tuesday morning at 7:30am, at Willie Bird's on Santa Rosa Ave.

Cheers!
