Just when the world thought there were too many laywers and sharks were at the top of the food scale in the ocean, our intrepid member, Gabe Dunton, made his initial appearance in the year 1979, in Santa Rosa. His parents were very proud.

Growing up in our fair town was of particular delight to young Gabe, especially when he discovered his parents had enrolled him at Cardinal Newman High School from 1993-1997. Visions of ingenuos young high school girls danced in his head at night. Unfortunately, no one told him it was an all boys school.

Gabe's disappointment was finally salved when he moved to San Luis Obispo in 1997 to study science (he'd already discovered girls...and now he wanted to figure out why they were "different". While at Cal Poly, he discovered that he was "hot stuff", working as a wildfire fighter for three years on the central coast, including San Luis Obispo, Santa Margarita and Santa Maria. The girls discovered him then, too. Something about firemen.

From 1999-2003, he worked as a cook and a warehouse worker to pay expenses while at school. in 2003, Gabe worked with the Regional Water Quality Control Board after finishing up at Cal Poly. He moved back to Santa Rosa a year later. In 2004, he started coursework toward an MBA and in 2005, worked briefly as an environmental specialist in Richmond.

In 2006, Gabe became disillusioned with environmental work, and started an insurance agency. He worked long hours during the day, and studied business at night.

Later in 2006, he started dating his future wife, Georgia. In 2008, Gabe got married, and his wife gave birth to their first daughter Lillian.

In 2009, Gabe and his wife bought a home in Santa Rosa. He also finished pursuing his MBA and moved to new office.

Gabe and his wife are expecting the birth of their second child early in 2010.

On a personal note, Gabe enjoy movies, books, and sports. He loves to mountain bike and play guitar. In his free time he likes to cook, stay afloat of current events, lift weights, watch sports, and play with his daughter. He loves the outdoors and one day wants to move to  a secluded home in the woods. He is also a die-hard Oakland A's and San Jose Sharks fan.



Gabe provide a full range of personal and business insurance solutions. He maintain a Farmers Agency and a commercial insurance brokerage so he can adequately and competitively address all of his clients insurance needs (except for health insurance, which JC Lewis Agency handles).

Gabe also brokers a very diverse array of A-rated business insurance products, from general liability to E&O. Ninety-nine percent of the time, He has access to the same products and prices as the large brokerages, but is willing to spend more time with small businesses than other brokers.

He specialize in servicing clients who require their agent to be responsive to phone calls, emails, faxes, and text messages. He can handle most every client request via correspondence if that client does not have time to meet in person. Of course, Gabe never turns down the opportunity to have face-to-face appointment with a client at the local coffee shop, either.
